It’s been over three decades since these three simple words were written to close a chapter. While each word is an individual virtue, when combined they express a collective truth about how we choose to see the world.
Peace doesn’t require us to see eye to eye. Love doesn’t require us to be the same. And empathy simply asks us to look beyond our own experiences to consider someone else’s. There’s more that connects us than separates us.
We chose to put these words on a shirt, not to relive a moment in time, but because we believe that what they represent deserves to be seen now more than ever. What we wear can say a lot about who we are and what we value.
We can all choose peace. We can all show love. We can all practice empathy. How we treat one another still matters, and each day is an opportunity to choose what we put into the world.
Who we are
Chancellor is a multifaceted, design-driven company based in San Diego, California. Inspired by the golden state of mind and fueled by the tenacity of entrepreneurship, we blend art, music, and fashion into a cohesive brand that celebrates the free spirit of the nonconformist and provides an identity for the unapologetic individualist.
Our mission statement is simple: Be You. Do You. For You. While our aesthetic leans modern—clean lines and symmetrical simplicity—our mindset is anything but conventional. We embody an unorthodox mentality of living outside the box, breaking rules, and embracing individuality. Everything we create is rooted in the things we love. Our influences span five iconic decades: the Mid-Century Modern design of the 1950s, sci-fi space-age fascination of the 1960s, fahion-forward rebellion of the 1970s, pop culture vibrancy of the 1980s, and the alternative music that defined the 1990s.
Originally established as a design studio, Chancellor began in the freelance world—creating memorable brand identities and providing the latest print solutions to a wide range of clients.
